About us

Our Story & Mission

From a founding vision to a growing force for change — learn how Sankalpa Nepal Kaski came to be and what drives us forward.

About us

How we began

Sankalpa Nepal Kaski was founded on Chaitra 18, 2082 BS (2026 AD) with the mission of building a “Mutual Promise for Sustainable Development” — a commitment between the organisation, its members, and the communities it serves.

The organisation was formally registered with the Social Welfare Council on Baisakh 16, 2083 BS, gaining official recognition and the mandate to operate across Nepal’s social development landscape.

Headquartered in Kaski district, Sankalpa Nepal operates at multiple levels — coordinating local programs in every district while also engaging in national and international initiatives. This multi-tiered approach allows the organisation to address community needs effectively while remaining connected to broader development goals.

The organisation believes that social activities of all kinds — from literacy workshops to cultural programs — play a meaningful role in the long-term project of societal transformation and the building of a civilised society. This conviction guides every program and every partnership.
